RECHS students get hands-on field experience at vaccine clinic.

Students in the Raymondville Early College High School Health Careers Academy assisted the Department of State Health Services and Willacy County EMS with a COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Willacy County Safe Room this morning.  Today’s clinic was only for individuals who received the first dose at the Safe Room on January 9.  Twelve RECHS nursing students and three instructors helped with registration, vaccine administration, and post-vaccination monitoring.  Today was an excellent experience for our students, and they look forward to helping at the next clinic.
