Myra Green Middle School Recognized in U.S. News & World Report Rankings

Myra Green Middle School has achieved a significant milestone by being ranked among Texas middle schools in the 2025 U.S. News & World Report rankings.

This recognition reflects the school's commitment to academic excellence and its dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment.

 

Myra Green Middle School has consistently exceeded district and state performance benchmarks, solidifying its recognition as one of the best middle schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. In 8th grade mathematics, an impressive 96% of students met the Approaches Grade Level standard, surpassing the state average of 72% and the district’s 93%, while 71% met the Meets Grade Level standard, far exceeding the state’s 43%. Similarly, in ELA/Reading, 88% of students reached the Approaches benchmark, with 66% meeting and 31% mastering the grade-level expectations, all outpacing both district and state figures. These outstanding achievements reflect the school's unwavering commitment to academic excellence, rigorous instruction, and a supportive learning environment that empowers students to excel.
