Raymondville ISD the only band in the RGV to advance to all 3 State Level Contests

 Two Rio Grande Valley Bands have advanced to the ATSSB State Finals.  Only ten bands in the state advance to this level of competition for each class, and two are from the RGV - Raymondville in class 4A and Rio Hondo in class 3A.
Additionally, two Rio Grande Valley Bands have advanced to the high school TMEA Honor Band State Finals in Class 4A- Raymondville High School and La Grulla High School.
Finals will be judged at the TMEA Summer Convention in San Antonio, starting July 25th.

Raymondville ISD the only band in the RGV to advance to all 3 State Level Contests:

1. The UIL State Marching Band Championships
2. TMEA State Honor Band Contest
And
3. ATSSB Outstanding Performance Series
