MYRA GREEN MIDDLE SCHOOL RECOGNIZED AS TOP GOLD RIBBON SCHOOL IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY

Children at Risk, a prominent research and child advocacy nonprofit, has bestowed the prestigious Gold Ribbon School honor upon Raymondville ISD’s Myra Green Middle School. The recent rankings released by Children at Risk for the 2022-2023 school year highlight Myra Green Middle School's outstanding achievements in providing high-quality education.

Children at Risk analyzed data from 7,213 public schools in Texas, recognizing only 26 Middle Schools as Gold Ribbon Schools.  These schools demonstrated remarkable performance despite their students coming from low-income areas. Myra Green Middle School stood out as the top Gold Ribbon Middle School selected in the Rio Grande Valley, showcasing the unwavering commitment of the school's staff, students, and the entire Raymondville community.
