Raymondville, TX - May 29, 2024 - The Raymondville Bearkat Band demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication at the State Solo and Ensemble competition, setting a new school record with 34 medals. This remarkable accomplishment marks the second highest medal count among all class 4A schools in the state and the highest among all Rio Grande Valley bands.
Band Director Ben Keltner expressed immense pride in his students, stating, "This accomplishment reflects the hard work, dedication, and talent of our students. They have put in countless hours of practice, and their efforts have truly paid off. We couldn't be more proud of the Bearkat Band."
