Texas DPS and Raymondville ISD Partner for Community Safety

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and Raymondville Independent School District (RISD) participated in the grand opening of the new Justice Center, a DPS Highway Patrol office located at the RISD Maintenance and Transportation Facility. The event featured speeches by DPS officials, representatives from the school district, and other leaders from the community. The ceremony was followed by a tour of the facility and a reception. The Texas Department of Public Safety and RISD have established a strong partnership to ensure the safety and security of the community.

The grand opening also represents a strong commitment to ensuring the safety of students, faculty, and staff. The new facility will allow DPS and RISD to work together more closely and effectively to provide valuable resources and experiences for students interested in the Criminal Justice Career pathway.
