The Raymondville Independent School District (RISD) held a grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony for their new on-site health clinic on Wednesday, April 12, at 10 am. The event, which was open to the public, was attended by members of the community, school and community officials, and local media. The RISD Health Clinic will provide high-quality healthcare services to students, staff members, and public servants, making healthcare more accessible and convenient for all. The clinic is staffed by licensed medical professionals who are committed to providing the best possible care to patients. The grand opening ceremony included a tour of the clinic, an introduction to clinic staff, and opportunities for interviews and photographs. The Raymondville Early College High School Mariachi group and the drum line also performed to mark the occasion, adding a festive touch to the event. "We are excited to be opening the RISD Health Clinic and to provide our community with high-quality healthcare services," said Superintendent Stetson Roane. "This clinic will make healthcare more accessible and convenient for our students, staff members, and public servants, and we are pleased to share this momentous occasion with the community." Attendees of the event were impressed with the clinic's modern facilities and state-of-the-art medical equipment. The clinic features private examination rooms, a laboratory, and x-ray services. The RISD Health Clinic is not only open to students and staff members, but also to all public servants. The clinic is conveniently located at 419 FM 3168 next to the Raymondville ISD Tax Office, and is open Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm (closed 12pm -1pm).
